Summer graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and Education from the University of Central Florida and is a certified child life specialist. Working as a child life specialist at a local children’s hospital, she realized her passion for children who were grieving.
“Giving children a voice during a time where they feel so vulnerable empowers children to explore their feelings as they learn how to advocate for themselves. These lessons transcend the grief journey into daily life habits that can change a child’s life trajectory.”
During her personal time, Summer enjoys photography, the beach, and is a lifelong learner. Summer is a native Floridian. She is married and has two adult daughters.

Bryn, BS, CCLS

Bryn graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Development from Georgia Southern University. She moved to the Orlando area in 2020 to pursue her dream of becoming a certified child life specialist. During her time working in the hospital setting, Bryn provided support to families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the Perinatal High Risk Unit. She quickly developed a passion advocating for children and families who are grieving.

During her personal time, Bryn enjoys traveling, trying new coffee shops, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Zuliann, BS, CCLS

Zuli graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development. She is a certified child life specialist with over 10 years of experience working with children in the hospital setting, and also with children who are grieving.
“My biggest passion is advocating for diverse populations and ensuring equitable attainable services for all families.”
In her free time she enjoys time with her family, traveling, and trying new foods. Zuli was born in Puerto Rico and is fluent in Spanish.

Christina, MS, CCLS

Christina is a dedicated professional with a profound commitment to supporting children and families facing the challenges of grief and loss. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Utah, as well as a Master of Science in Thanatology from Marian University.
With over 15 years of clinical experience as a certified child life specialist, Christina has played a pivotal role in providing compassionate care within healthcare settings. Her passion lies in creating safe spaces where children can openly express their emotions, memories, and concerns during their complex journey of grief.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Christina finds joy in paddle boarding, cherishing moments with her family, and exploring new destinations through travel.


Courtney, CCLS, MSW

Courtney received her Bachelor’s in Family and Child Studies with a concentration in child life from Montclair State University, and her Master’s in social work from the University of Southern California. She is both a certified child life specialist and a licensed social worker. Courtney has 12 years of experience in the hospital setting working alongside children and families. By helping children in both the hospital environment at the time of loss, as well as the therapy environment after the grieving process has begun, she has dedicated her career to supporting children as they navigate the complex emotions that accompany grief.
Courtney believes in the power of compassion, empathy, and a child-centered approach to help grieving children find hope and healing. She hopes to help foster resilience and develop the tools needed for children navigating grief to create a brighter future.
Courtney’s passions include spending time with her pups, travel, and exploring and learning about new cultures.
